The master of self reinvention without losing his former self, John Doe exhhibits many styles of music. Whether it’s the hard rocking style of his early punk roots from his X days to the soulful searing honesty of his solo work, John Doe is a master of music idioms. In her own right, Kathleen Edwards of music idioms as well. She matches her folk based melodies with penetrating lyrics about love and struggling to cope in a hectic fast pace world.
