Disabled In New York

Videopoem interviews actress/social activist Amy Meisner-Threet about her disability with MS and the impact this has had on her life. An accomplished actress and dancer who has appeared on television and the Alvin Ailey Theater, Ms. Meisner-Threet explains how having disease does not mean a death sentence. In the interview show talks about combatting stereotypes and the difficulties of overcoming the disease while maintaining an active life.
