Sustainability in Westchester
November 28, 2010 by zote63

Back in may Videopoem covered a talk on sustainability in Westchester County, New York held at the Chappaqua Library. There was a combination of educators, government agencies and activists exploring the topic of sustainability in the county. Generally the outlook was favorable as there is a strong consensus for such development. Ironically though wetlands were tore up right behind the library as Chappaqua approved Temple Beth El’s destruction of wetlands to increase the size of it’s facility.
Sustainability is a movement that is gaining acceptance in American society. It unites individuals from all backgrounds as they join together to preserver our existence.
